Children younger than 6 years are at greatest risk of injury because they're not sufficiently physically developed to control their bouncing. All our large trampolines are suitable for children aged 6 years +.
We recommend purchasing the Early Fun Toddler Trampoline or the TP 6ft Hip Hop Junior Trampoline for little bouncers!
Weight limits are important because they indicate the strength and durability of the trampoline. Responsible manufacturers will always err on the side of caution with trampoline weight recommendations. For example, an athletic 60kg teenager will pose a greater challenge to the robustness of a trampoline than a sedate 80kg adult. Quite simply, the greater the height achieved by the bouncer, the greater the loading on the springs. It is worth investing in a trampoline with a weight limit well in excess of your current needs. TP Trampoline have high single user weights, but for safety reasons please only allow one user at a time.
All TP Single seater swing seats and accessories are tested for use on TP Frames with some exceptions dependant on the frame you purchase. Our Duo-Rider and Nest swings are only suitable to be used on our larger frames like the Knightswood Swing Frames and Kingswood Climbing Frame. If you require further assistance please use the contact us page and we will try and asssit you further with your selection.
The guarantee on some our metal products covers failure due to rust which is defined as a perforation or breakage of the steel tubing. Nuts, bolts and fittings are not covered by this guarantee. The guarantee is not a cover against surface rust for which maintenance instructions are included with the product. We advise that should surface rust appear it should be rubbed down with course sandpaper or wire wool and retouched with a non toxic galvanised paint suitable for outdoor use.
While a little squeaking is to be expected with your trampoline, we can advise that applying WD40 or petroleum jelly to the springs will help reduce the noise. We recommend to wear heavy duty gloves when applying this for safety purposes.
Most TP timber is pressure treated so staining is not necessary, some TP products however need to be treated before assembly and re-treated on a yearly basis. Please refer to the product details to see if the product you are buying needs to be pre-treated or not. However, if you do wish to stain a pre-treated product for aesthetic reasons, use any good water based wood stain available from a reputable DIY store. They should be able to advise you on the most suitable child-friendly treatment for outdoor wood products.
For more infomation about our wood products visit our know about wood page in the learning zone.
All TP products are sold as self assembly and we do not provide a build service. We advise to search for a local handyman/flat pack assembly service in your area.
We do not advise to book tradesmen until you have received your delivery in full and have checked that all parts are checked in the boxes.
In order to concrete your stakes into the ground, you will require a small hole dug near where the foot of the frame is. The ground pegs should be vertically at an angle of 45 degrees, this would place the stake slightly behind the upright frame leg. The aperture is then dug behind the leg, so that the actual leg is still on firm ground. The concrete mix can be dry or slightly damp. Both mixes will set due to the reaction of the weather and ground moisture.
Full instructions on how to do this can be found in the assembly instructions. If your frame is supplied with stakes these must always be fitted in accordance with the instructions
