It depends on the playhouse you go for. Our smaller, one-storey playhouses are relatively simple to set up. But the ones with swings take a little more time. They come with ground anchors which need to be securely concreted in the ground, as per the assembly instructions. This is to ensure the playhouse stays safe and sturdy whilst your little one is swinging.

As an example, our treehouse wooden play tower with a balcony, wavy slide and swing will take around 3 hours for 2 adults to put together. You will also need some basic DIY tools.

What size playhouse with swing set should I get for my kids?

As long as you have enough room in your garden to create a spacious boundary around the playhouse, the bigger the better! Our playhouse with swing sets requires a bit more room than our regular playhouses, as your kid needs enough space to swing back and forth safely.
